Turkey has completed feasibility and design work for a spaceport in Somalia, with the first phase of construction underway, according to Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kççir. This ambitious project, announced on Tuesday, is a significant step for Turkey's space ambitions and has the potential to reshape the country's role in the global space economy.
The spaceport's strategic location in Somalia, a country with an equatorial region, offers Turkey a unique advantage.
